Axhara for iPhone and iPad · last updated 23 August 2026

Axhara collects nothing. The app contains no networking code of any kind — no analytics, no accounts, no servers, no third-party SDKs. There is nowhere for your data to go, which is a stronger statement than a promise not to send it.

What the app does with your voice

When you hold the talk button, Axhara records audio and transcribes it using Apple's on-device speech recognition, which runs on your iPhone. The audio is held in memory for as long as it takes to recognise it and is then discarded. It is never written to disk, never uploaded, and never sent to us or to anyone else.

The resulting text is sent over an encrypted Bluetooth Low Energy link to your Axhara Node — a USB accessory you own, plugged into your own computer. It goes nowhere else. The transcript shown in the app stays on the device and can be cleared at any time.

Tracking and advertising

None. Axhara does not use the advertising identifier, does not contain an advertising or attribution SDK, and does not link anything you do to any other app or website. Nothing is shared with data brokers. The app's PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest declares no collected data types and no tracking domains, and it says that because it is true.

The Bluetooth link

Your iPhone and your Node agree a key when you pair them and encrypt everything after that with AES-256-GCM. Pairing a new phone requires somebody to physically press the button on the Node, which is enforced by the Node's own firmware. The Node sends keystrokes to your computer and receives nothing back: it cannot read your screen, your files, your clipboard, or anything you type on the computer's own keyboard.

Children

Axhara is rated 4+ and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Your rights

Regulations such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete. The data described above is on your device and under your control. If you would like this confirmed in writing, write to us and we will confirm it.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date, and any change that would involve collecting data would ship with an app update and an updated App Store privacy label at the same time.
