Tell us which iPhone and which iOS version you are on, and what you expected to happen. If something went wrong during dictation, Settings › Diagnostics has a share button that attaches the timings — they contain no words from anything you dictated.

Common questions

What do I need to use Axhara?

An Axhara Node — a small USB accessory, sold separately — and a computer with a USB port. The computer needs no software, no driver and no account: it sees an ordinary USB keyboard.

The app says "no Node connected"

Check that the Node is plugged in and that Bluetooth is on. If the app has never seen it, open Settings › Pair a Node and press the button on the Node when asked — a Node will not accept a new phone unless somebody presses it.

Can I try the app without a Node?

Yes. On the pairing screen, tap Explore without hardware. Every screen opens and dictation works for real — your words are transcribed on the iPhone and shown in the app. Nothing is typed at a computer until a Node is connected, and the screen says so.

The wrong characters arrive at my computer

The Node types keystrokes, so it needs to know which keyboard layout your computer uses. Settings › Computers lets you set the operating system and layout for each computer you have set up.

Does my voice go to a server?

No. Transcription runs on your iPhone using Apple's on-device speech recognition, and the app contains no networking code at all. See the privacy policy.

Is Axhara a password manager or a security key?

No. It can type a code you have stored, behind Face ID, straight into the field you have focused — but it does not implement WebAuthn or FIDO2 and does not replace a passkey.

Accessibility

Axhara supports Dynamic Type at every size, VoiceOver on every control, and Reduce Motion. If something does not work with the assistive technology you use, please write — we treat it as a bug, not a request.
